crafty goodness: dapper doxie duds & snowpup ornaments

Hey everybody! It's me, Baxter, your roving rover reporter reporting today from - you guessed it - my home! It's been a busy weekend here at my house, not only because we celebrated my birthday but because I've been helping my mom with all sorts of crafty stuff.

First, here's a peek at some of the fabrics mom thought might be good for my blog buddies Kate and Allie. Now kinda like the way my mom likes to dress me in green, Kate n Allie's mom likes for Kate to wear royal blue and Allie to wear red. So mom dug around and found these corduroys & cotton cable knits for their winter harness options. Mom didn't take a picture of the trim, but rest assured it'll be really cool! I can't wait to find out what Kate and Allie's mom chooses.

Next is the new litter of snowpup ornaments we made. This time they are all girls, complete with swarovski crystals on their heads! I like how all their faces are different, just like us real doxies. My mom says she couldn't make two alike if she had to. Hopefully by the time you read this report, they'll be on Etsy but if not, my mom promises they'll be on sometime Monday evening.

Lastly, here is a top secret peek at some things we made to give as presents! Shhhh. Don't spoil the surprise.

Do you think mom will make ME something for Christmas? A dog can be so lucky, since she already made me my birthday crown. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. This is Baxter your roving rover reporter wishing you a Happy Monday!

I just bought the last one available on etsy. Now that I safely have mine, it's safe to ask- do Maggie & Joey know about these? Mag would be very impressed. Merry Christmas!

Please - more Baked Doxies.I was empty hearted when I went to Etsy and they were GONE!!!!!
Wait - I wanted one. I guess I have to sleep with the computer and check every few minutes to see if they have been posted. Consider taking orders?? The little girls are cute as can be. Great marketing Baxter, you little salesman you. Love you. So photogenic.

DAMN Anonymous, are you saying you got THREE of them? ARGH. What really makes me mad (at myself) is that I was up and online at 6 AM. I might have had a decent shot at getting one. But, I thought I would leave today's new blogpost to read at word as a little bright spot on the day... curses, foiled again.

Bludog, don't be mad, the first anonymous only got one! I got the cream girl, although if I could have gotten that orange one, too....

Ever thought of making some with brown noses & eyes? I have a chocolate piebald....

And the second anonymous got two...red and the combo pink/purple/orange one!

Wow that was fast! Thanks everybody for adopting the last snowpup litter so quickly. My head's now so big I can barely hold it up, much less goto the store and buy more polymer clay. But fear not, soon my head will deflate back to its normal size and I'll be back into the swing of making more snowpups once I finish our last show this weekend and the last batch of packages and Christmas cards are on their way. If you have a special request, drop me a line and I'll be sure to think about it for the next litter (and tag you if I think I made something that fits the bill)

I know---Kate & Allie! they are in fact 9-year old twins who came thru rescue. I'm there 3rd (and final!) owner. Somehow I couldn't bear to change their names---it just suits them fine! What do you all think we should choose for their winter coats?

Kaly, you are so talented! My mom can't even draw a picture of stick people without messing it up! I can't wait to see what those gifts you made are. Looks like you are gonna have to speed up the production of the snowpups or there may be a doxie riot! ;o)
Snuggles,

My snowpups just arrived in the mail and they are better looking in person! Thanks so much. One is for me and the other is a Christmas gift for another doxie fanatic I know.

aw thanks! I am so glad they are getting wonderful homes!! Hope to make more at the end of Jan, of course, now that Christmas is over! Ah well. Doxies need homes year round, don't they?
