a lulu lookback :)

It has been a few years now since the little kielbasa and I started this blog.  As with so many things I never imagined would happen, I never imagined we would be here, mourning the passing and celebrating the life of a little friend whom we would not have met where it not for this world we created.  Today, just a few pictures of Lulu, some new, some old, but all I can assure you, cherished for the perfect foil to Baxter's unusual happy go lucky lifestyle, and for happiness and love she brought to us all. :)

Thanks for sharing your pics, Baxter. "Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion". (Truvey Jones - Steel Magnolias).

So sad. I loved the Lulu posts - she was a perfect foil to Baxter in her "perfect little lady-ness"

Wishes for healing to Lulu's mom.

I do love how, in several of the photos, Lulu has a "What the heck is this place?" look on her face -- B's paw-wash, B in the Southern Belle hat.

Such a dollface. I will miss her.

Oh no! We are so sorry to learn of Lulu's passing, and she was not that old! Not only was she my namesake, but she was so cute and pretty and a perfect foil to Baxter. We love to watch the video of Baxter and Lulu sharing their toys. With sadness and slurps, Lulu Belle Large, plus Rave, Harley and our Daddy Don, too.

I always enjoyed reading about Baxter & Lulu's adventures. They were the perfect little duo. Lulu looks so much like my little doxie girls. She will be missed very much. Losing a four-legged loved one is one of the hardest things in life. Thoughts & hugs to Lulu's mom

This makes us very sad. We know Baxter had a thing for Lulu! And we hope that with his recent time travel adventure (where he turned into a girl) that he realizes, at last, that girls don't have cooties!. We do hope he at some point did give Lulu a kiss! Our deepest sympathies to Lulu's mom. Lulu was too young :(

I always loved reading the posts about Baxter when he had his friend Lulu over. She was such a pretty little girl dachshund. I know they had fun together. I wish we never had to lose our little friends. :(

Oh Baxter--it is so hard to mourn the passing of a good friend. May your heart, and the hearts of her family heal!
