dear diary,
i am sorry i have not written in you lately but i have been busy helping mom with an urgent makemergency. u see, little miss julia decided on sunday that she wants to be athena the goddess of war for trunk or treat on thursday and she asked if we could make athena's helmet. so we found a free basic villian helmet pattern on kamui cosplay, modified it to make it all spartany cool, cut it out of cardboard, and three very late nights later, we are almost done. it is coming along pretty nicely considering how little time we have to make it, dontchoo think? little miss julia wanted her helmet to be shiny silver which i think will be really cool bc sometime she can dress up as a roman cyclon.

anyhoo, here is also a picture of me taking a break from all that makey. and nopies that is not a mega furry cat under me. let's just say if we were not so busy with our makemergency, my whole body would be a lot stinkier right now and not in a good way but more of a purple flower stink sort of way.

anyhoo, when we are finished finished i will try and post a picture of the helmet on instygram and if mom is not looking i will also try and post a picture of the chocolate turtle i made :)

yes, mother, me and duk duk agree to ensure one hundred percent of the proceeds from our special teeny weenie helping houston texas tree fundraiser will be donated to the houston spca to help wolves and falcons in need.  now, may we please have some time alone so we can start photography and planning our event?















 




 

hee hee, i thought she'd never leave. wait, is she gone? okay good.  i did not want to say it in front of her, but these teeny weenie helping houston texas trees we asked mom to make on short notice turned out even better than i expected! i mean, it's got all the adorableness of our other teenie weenie trees, and it's got all the awesomeness that u would expect out of something that might cost a little more but they are meant for a special cause. i mean, the three piece, glove soft,  hand cut, full leather wrap that makes up the texas state flag on the block base?  the tiny hand dyed indigo blue trees with even tinier texas star tree toppers on top?  the classic teeny weenie we designed with tiny red swarovski crystal nose standing ferociously atop an iridescent glittery snow surface? the hand branded logo that we designed on the bottom?  the pearly-descent stars we punched and carefully placed on the flag? all the tiny touches really add up to some one of a kind awesome, don't they, duk duk?

 yeah, i know. my tummy is already rumbling at me for donating our gummy worms to help buy supplies for these trees. but just think, we could have donated our gummy worms directly, but by investing them  in supplies and turning them into these trees, hopefully people will buy them and we can multiply the amount we can donate! and, it's a win win all around because not only will people know they are helping a good cause, but they will be getting something really awesome that they can keep or maybe even give to another friend, u know, to pass along the smile favor. and if that person lives in texas or is from texas, why, even better, right?

anyhow, i hope our friends can remember to mark their calendars for - wait, when did we say again? oh yeah, saturday the 23rd at 8:00 PM Eastern Standard time. but i hope they can remember if they are interested or pass the word along because we only made like fifteen of them plus or minus what a wolf might have chomped on because, well, u know, that's what a mom gets when a wolf finds things at wolf height and he thinks he is being helpful by bringing it to her only by the time he brings it to her there are pretty much chomp marks all over it. because that's what wolves do. :)
