dear diary,
yippee! so here it finally is, after much careful deliberation and debate with duk duk, chocobot, lulu the tiger, and lil pink puppy, i am happy to top secret share with you our Poopie Rockett's New Adventurers summer road trip plan proposal for 2013!  clearly there are still a few details we have yet to work out, like finding the exact address in english for the poop museum, and like how we can space proof and time proof our pedal car once we are done with our planetary adventures,  but we are hoping that these minor technicalities will iron themselves out as we go along. and we we plan to bring a roll of duct tape and a bottle of window cleaner, which as u know together form the bi-fecta of fixit remedies. i know because i know neither #kirk nor #khan brought any of that with them and look at what a mess they both got their ships into without it.

anyhoo, i sure hope mom approves our trip soon.  i am not sure how many more of toy boxes i can empty before i explode from all the wanderlust pent up inside me.

okay, anybuddy see anything else we need to change?...yeah, i wish we had time to go to the lost moon of poosh too, chocobot.  at least by pedal car.  we could try and ask the doctor to take us but by the time he finished talking to us and started up the tardis, it'd be time to go back to school again, wouldn't it? 

plus the plan is to visit our human consulting detective counterparts on baker street and that will already stress our schedule enough. u know how sherlock gets if he has just figured out a case. it's like riding the bullet train in the smartypants lane to talkytown.  i only hope he slows down enough to take the time to understand the new poopie snake crime analysis methods that me and duk duk want to share with him.  it would save him a lot of trouble and the stink is so delightful! or,  you know he could be mopey and bored since watson does not know he is still alive yet in which case maybe he will totally want to go with us on the rest of our voyage, which is another reason why this map is so important. and we need to show it to mom so she can let us borrow her credit card for the journey because i am pretty sure the currency exchange rate for monkey chow, gummy worms, and poopie snakes are at an all time low right now.  because of the glut of supply over in greenland i read about in poopness week. anyhoo, let me just finish things up here before mom - 

oh, why hello mom! before u say anything me and duk duk already put the flag out and we cleaned the picnic table and we did everything else u asked us to get ready for the 4th. including not getting any firecrackers because we know how important it is for us to be good so we can go on our summer vacation that we are planning now. speaking of which, we were just borrowing your ipad to draw up our summer adventure vacation map and we are almost done! tomorrow we will show it to you okay? okay.  :) :)

city sampler: FIT to be tied

So, I told myself I wasn't going to stop by the garment district before we left.  I don't really need anything, and my studio shelves are pretty chock full already.  But who can resist the siren call of neatly arranged aisles of buttons and zippers, or the temptation of staring at finely crafted fashion on exhibit at FIT?  Not me, apparently. But I did survive with my credit card relatively unscathed, and with enough pocket change to get a little sumptin on the way home for my big boyfriend too.

mom this yellow mug u got on clearance from anthropologie for dad is super cool but u want me and duk duk to fill it with some monkey chow milkshake or maybe a double shot iced poop mushie? and why on earth didjoo let uncle dana talk u out of getting the red one too, with dog wearing the fez on it?  fezzes are cool!! :)

So who's more inclined to keep her camera aimed below the waist and close to the ground in NYC, rather than gawking at all the tall buildings or famous celebrities or all that other touristy stuff?  Yeah, you know the answer already.  Quite a few lovely little doxie sightings.  Except for one certain little special Charlie boy, with whom the planets will hopefully align next time. :)

 
ahem. um, excuse me. mom? sorry to interrupt but i was looking thru the pictures u were not going to post and well, i was noticing how all these doggies have to walk every where and well, next time u go into the city, can u please get me and duk duk one of these? we can paint it yellow and next summer maybe me n duk duk can go into the city and start up our very own doggie taxi service.  small dogs only. and maybe not girls because a taxi this size really has no over there for them to stand in if u know what i mean. but it would be perfect for everybuddy else, dontchoo think?  :)

Feeling visually recharged from my trip to NYC, and thought you might need a recharge too.  Here, a glimpse into our rented apartment, and a couple of cool nearby sights :)

And here, a tiny chumley, who was very happy with his souvenir from my travels, even if it was only from his Uncle Dana's local Wally World.  Simple little joys for a happy go lucky little boy. :)

dear diary, 

u know how u think it would be so cool to live sort of on your own with just your dad and without your mom around to keep u from setting off firecrackers in the house or to tell u to pick up your toys n stuff?  well, it is not very. and me and dad are very glad she is coming home today, even if it means I have to give up my one a day chewnola rawhide habit.  and boy I am so glad me and duk duk did not get tattoos.

Tiny little pinned back perturbed ears will be my send off today, a sure sign that a certain little wiener boy isn't very happy at the prospect of his mom leaving him home with his dad while she goes off for a a few days to visit with Auntie Robin.  I can hardly blame him, for though my trip is sure to be fun, I know I will miss my tiny and big boyfriends too.  ♥

project summer fun: meet u at the corner of corncob and vine

dear diary,
even though me and duk duk are still a week or two away from finalizing our project summer fun plans, yesterday we figured there is really no reason why project summer fun could not start now. here at home  which is how i decided not only try to eat corn on the cob, but also play with vine. and both are very fun with one being more delicious than the other if u know what i mean.

anyhoo, something tells me soon i will wish i could trade in my i-phoney for a real one, as much fun as we could having making tiny videos all summer long. so now might be a good time to remind everybuddy that the official crown count fundraiser and interest check survey is now open for your input over on the right sidebar of the web version of my blog!  so if you are a princess and need a superior quality sparkly crown hopefully like the ones in this picture link, then be sure to let mom know how many u might be interested in getting so we can make sure there will be enough for everybuddy once we discover the buried treasure chest!  voting closes at the end of the week.  which is longer than it would take for me to finish my corn cob, if only mom would let me finish it all at once..
