A happy new kitty perch for the little kielbasa, made in large part from scraps of wood and foam that have been sitting in our garage for years, and a wonderfully soft and rich textured orange chenille fabric that had been waiting for just this moment. A fine get crafty project for my brother and me to make for the little kielbasa, who knew the moment he saw it finished that it was his to enjoy.
all for me?, his little eyes twinkled as he hopped atop his new perch,aw shucks!

Great job. As usual, you are so handy!
You MADE that? Reminds me of a skit on SNL where a couple is marooned on a dessert island, and they are making each other gifts. The man is like, "Here's a shell necklace. I found the shells and strung it myself," and the woman (Victoria Jackson) is giving him a TV and a motorcycle and all this really fancy and implausible stuff.
My contribution to a "kitty perch" for Molly would be ... "Here's a stack of folded towels for you to perch on."
Nice. Lucky B.
Baxter, you could not be any cuter. You were so blessed with a Mom that has talent!
hi masko! yep that's me, busy not makin the stuff i should be makin!
hee - well, ok, bludog, we didn't turn the legs or weave the fabric or make the foam or anythin like that. but my brother made the frame and drilled all sorts of holes and assembled everything after I sewed the piping and upholstered everything. So I would guess this project falls somewhere between the shell necklace and the television set!
aw thanks person anonymous! we always ask Baxter how he got so cute and he just looks at us like we are nuts. excuse me, born that way, now please can we get back to the topic of when i get to eat next?
Pawesome job!
