so here i was boo hooin that mom would not let me go outside to help her water the garden when guess what - she came back inside and told me that our our latest trap worked! and u guessed it, yippee skippee we caught a unicorn! he is even cooler than i could ever imagine cuz looky - he's a chocolatey colored unicorn and he is tiny, just like me!! okay, well maybe not me but tiny enough so that we will not need to feed him nearly as much as i thought we might have to cuz i hear unicorns can really chow down if u know what i mean. especially if they have princesses that they have to take places cuz then it's a real workout n all. but this unicorn? princess free. which is swell for us cuz that means he can probably stay as long as he wants now that he knows we only caught him so we could appreciate him. i cannot wait to bring him inside to show duk duk n lil pink puppy!!
well diary, i best run so we can all start getting to know our unicorn better! it is only hours before our appreciation event starts!! :) :)

Wow Baxter, your unicorn is soooooo awesome!!! Mom & I haven't had any luck catching one, but she says that she has a surprise for me tomorrow that will make up for not catching a unicorn. I wonder what it could be???

hee hee i know, right? but mom says we need the unicorn trap for other things, like keepin the squirrels from bitin on the ac drain pipe. stinky squirrels. always spoilin the fun!
I,O, and L predict that the unicorn's horn will be gone by tomorrow! (we did notice lil pink puppy's right ear seem to be kinda chewed on!!)
