i want bunny

Tiny chumley was all awiggle when I came home, then it was back to the duties that yesterday's hint of spring weather required of him.

It's nice out and I smell bunnies in my backyard. Can somebody please open the back door for me?

We - your faithful audience - would like details about that window shade on the door please ... it looks like one of your custom dyed, hand pieced masterworks. And is that part of a sweater you pieced in there?

Those Rodents do have a way of call to our inner hunter, don't they???

hee - the whole history goes sumptin like dis - it was maybe my second visit to Robin's house and she had this irregularly shaped "curtain" hanging in the room I was staying. I mentioned I thought it was cool and looked sorta like stained glass, then the next thing I know she comes down with it as a hostess gift on maybe her first ever visit here, and asked her to reconfigure it so I could use it on my back door. A few fabrics added from what little I had at the time, a lot of futzing, and voila! So, I really didn't have much of a hand in that one, and yes, isn't it SUPER COOL? There are sweaters, hand dye corduroys, and even pieces from a silk chiffon shirt plus brocades and velvet and other stuff that just illmuminates wonderfully when the late morning sun hits it. Totally like stained glass, but in a washable sort of way! You got a window that needs that, too? I smell a future hostess gift for when we can stay with ya, Bluedog!! :)

Here we have the dreaded squirrel population to keep in line- haven't seen bunnies yet, but we only moved to Ohio in August!

Baxter, we know just how you feel. This cold winter put a damper on our lizard chasing too. With all this rain how are we expected to go about our hunting??? Hope you get your chance to catch a wabbit.

Hi, Baxter!
Haaa! my mom is laughing a lot now!
I do the same when she comes home everyday! I am happy to see her again... for about 20 seconds and then I go to do what I was doing before she came!
Yes. The door looks beautiful and now I know the story!
Kisses and hugs

I'm so glad Bludog inquired about the curtain on your door - sorry, Baxter, but I hardly noticed you in the photo! So pretty! And inspiring! Are you aware, kalyxcorn, just how much you and your oh-so-creative mind contribute to my (and others') "gotta try that" list? ;-D
