Today, a peek at some curious objects fresh from the foyer workshop. A vintage-meets-munchkinland mushroom forest to those of us who are three and a half apples high, or hat displays to those of us who are not quite so height challenged.

Can't wait to see this in use ... although, we will certainly be missing the cutest display item of all - that'd be the soft brown velvet one with the bright button eyes.
that is so neat! i like the ones that have the real tree branch. Does Baxter think they're mushrooms?? hehe
I am intrigued! They are to hold dog bowls?
I love your blog. I'm glad I found you. I, especially, love your harnesses. I try to sew some harnesses for my dogs but nothing comes out as nice as yours.
Wow!
They are pawesome!
Happy Saturday!
Kisses and hugs

hee, I know! one of these days little kielbasa will be with us at the show. I totally need to train him to do checkout!
oh boy, jiorji, I hope he doesn't mistake them for mushrooms for real! I just remembered Padua might have snitched a 'shroom or two in his time. Nothing ever came of it but you never know with these doxies!!
hee - anonymous, the idea would be very interesting for dog bowls in an adapted fashion but these are going to be used to display hats at a craft show. I've been noodling though on doing something dog bowl-y, but first I gotta get over my sentimentality with the bowls chumley already uses.
howdy Amy Ann! So nice to hear from you. After about 5 duds, you'll be well on your way to dudvana, so hang in there! Would love to see pics - email me if u feel like sharing, and regardless, feel free to ask any questions! :)
hi Lorenza girl! Happy Sunday soon!:)
"So many bowls, so little kibble."

O que são essas coisas aí ?

What a great idea! I featured a link to it on Moogly this morning! http://www.mooglyblog.com/craft-fair-checklist/
These hat stands are great. I'm actually starting to vend at art shows, festivals and the like and am selling hats. Wandering if you sell these hat stands and if so if I can purchase some from you? If not, can you tell me where I can get these? Thank you!
hello mister armin! my mom made them for her own show uses and do not sell them, but you can make them too! mostly you need to look for wooden bowls, something vertical, and something wide and heavy for the base. thrift stores are great for that sort of thing. good luck with your shows - do you have a link for your hats? :)
