my trip to the zoo

Hey, it's me, Baxter! Mom was busy doin stuff so she asked me to write today's post. So I thought I would be your roving rover reporter reporting to you today from outside the reptile and amphibian pavillion of my local zoo.  Even though there are many cool frogs and lizards to look at, today we are going to take a look at a very special snake here at the zoo, one that is very rare and some say very scary. In fact, it is so rare that I have never seen anything else like it.  And I think it is so scary that I decided to let you choose yourself if you want to see it.  So I took a picture of it earlier, and if you are feeling brave, please click on the name of the snake below and you too can share this very special and unique experience.

boiga x. cremen talloria irregularis

I hope you enjoyed my report. This is Baxter your roving rover reporter wishing you a very happy Friday! :)

When you said how scarey it was, I was sure it would be the vacuum. :)

"Well, you totally missed Bezeeci's visit down I-95 just to visit you in Carolina. She slithered there from NYC, but you weren't at the reptile house, so she had to skeeeedaddle back B/4 all the gang at home in 'Da Bronx' got worried! She's just three years old and only 20 inches, but her bite sure packs a punch - iffn you get on her nerves, she'll get all OVER yours!" Guinness

P.S. Happy April's Fools - she was hiding in the Bronx Zoo's Reptile house the whole time!! Tee-hee-hee!!!

hee hee, thankfully miss design_girl, i do not fear the vacuum cleaner. but i do have a great amount of respect for it and am sure to give it a wide berth if u know what i mean!

ha- miss keren, mom says no real snakes thank u. u think that i might get a little slack for that but no, still no wii for a week and we gotta mow the lawn n stuff. oh well, it was still so worth it, cuz i am really proud of the poopie snake i made. and from your faecbook comment how did u know how i made that?? u must have super spy vision!!

hee hee, we need us some wigs, max! maybe we can make some ourselves!!

miss annie's mom, mom says u and her both! but do not worry, my poopie snakes will so scare away all the real ones!! :)

oooh, miss bludog, i wonder if mom will let me do that. i might need some reader submissions to help keep that blog rolling. i do my best work after i see deer in my yard and that is not very often. otherwise they are more like poopie worms. well, fat poopie worms. or,well, i dunno, but my dad could tell u. for some reason he likes to collect them with that shovel u saw and put them in a special place. EV-rytime! i wonder if dad is saving them up to make a poopie monster anaconda!

Did you really go to the zoo?

We (the bf and I) went to the zoo a few months ago. As we were walking in he turned to me and said, "Is it weird that all of these little kids with their parents make me wish we brought Freyja (our doxie)?" She's so much our baby.

Have a great weekend!
