a moment to breathe + etsy coupon code :)

I really don't know how to start this post, other than to say I could be writing with much worse news, and for that, our family and of course the little kielbasa are extremely grateful.  My father suffered cardiac arrest last Sunday, and although he was rather immediately revived, this past week has been a challenge as he experienced serious complications caused by the trauma of CPR.  We have gone through very medically roller coastery times.  Needless to say, although his ultimate prognosis is still unclear, at least for now, he is stable and we are able to plan in coming 2-3 days rather than by hours.   And so I take a moment to breathe and peek back into the world, and write to say thank you all for your concern and continued thoughtfulness and prayers.

I think I have contacted everyone by email who had some dud work in process, but if not, I hope you will be able to read this and know that I have not forgotten about you. The makey makey time, although unclear how much of it I will have in the foreseeable future, will be a welcome respite.

Thanks to all who have continued to place etsy orders for your patience and  know that your goodies are being packed up today for ship tomorrow.    I will be filling new orders with their normal speedy turnaround these next few days, so please feel more than welcome to order up and accept my gratitude for your kind wishes by using coupon code GETWELLGRAMPA5 to get 5% off your total order, now thru and including this Tuesday 11/13.

And now it is time for a nice long walkie with u know who.  Happy Sunday, friends.  :)

So glad you have a chance to be home with big and little boyfriends! Continued good wishes for your father, and hugs and prayers for your family. Poe offers more wet slurpy kisses, and asked me to tell Baxter that she made a regular poopie snake plus a teeny tiny one as a bonus (outdoors, luckily for me).

Hang in there! I'm sure your love has been a great comfort to your Dad. I went thru a similar thing with my father years back and it is so difficult to see your big, strong daddy suffering. Take care of yourself and your family and try to enjoy the closeness with your loved ones that comes from trials like these. Our little Wishy has been on complete rest this past week due to a back injury and though it has been so stressful and scary, we have tried to relish all of the quiet time we are spending together as a family. Times like these remind you of how precious we all are to each other. Don't worry about anything other than what you can do today! xoxoxo

Ike got his birthday wish yesterday (he turned 4) - which was to see that you're safe, sound, and back home with your big and little boyfriends. I know a little of what you're going through - it seems we hit a certain age and then the safety, stability of having our parents always there suddenly changes. I remember feeling that 'mortality' hit me smack in the face. You and your family are in my thoughts.
