half baked

Baxter loves to bake himself. It could be almost a hundred degrees out in the middle of summer and he'll still want to grab a few minutes on the deck, stretched out to expose as much of his body as possible to absorb warmth from both the deck and the sun.

So it comes as no surprise that Little Glumley made the most of today's snowfall by staying snug in his bed, gently roasting by the warmth of the heater. He stayed there for hours, save for the two times he absolutely positively had to go outside because he couldn't hold it any longer, and once to drag a little stuffed buddy back to play with. If he could have his way, I think Baxter would happily go for his winter walks encased in a giant heated hamster ball, rolling around impervious to the elements and snug as a bug in a rug.
