whorling dervish

I'm pretty sure it's the ampleness of Baxter's behind that causes me from time to time to snap photos of his round derriere. So pleasingly plump, and graced with two mysterious swirling eddies of fur, spinning in directions opposite from each other.

I like to think the whorls are a visual joke, courtesy of mother nature. Signs of a storm of a different sort. Beware, my children, of the winds that emanate from this behind.

He, he, love it. I never took picture of my doxies back, but they have the same ... curls, too. Cute.

i had a hound dog growing up, and her swirls and tail were lighter than the rest of her behind, and it looked like an elephant.

Mom says that doxie rearends are always cute. Mine is rather "ample" too. Momma says I have curves!
