a moment of spring

No sooner did I think it was finally time to put the sweaters away did Mother Nature decide to tell me otherwise.  The weather we have been having has been fickle lately, taking us from spring to summer to spring and back to winter again, all in the course of a week.

I suspect tiny chumley knew all along that this would happen, which is why he happily snoozed in my lap all covered in blankies yesterday, after having taken full advantage of our perfect springlike weather only the day before. Lounging contentedly in the long tall grass of our neighbor's yard, absorbing the sun's warmth, and enjoying this taste of spring.

same here! it was winter, summer, spring, summer and now winter!!! Last Saturday's first day at agility class was cancelled because of the rain, but it looks like it's a go tomorrow- yippee!

Baxter looks very content, he must've known the winter weather was coming again and was taking full advantage of the sun :-)

Haha, yes, the weather has been extremely fickle!! There are full suns on the forecast for a few days (although the wind will be around 25 mph) then it goes to rain and maybe snow (when it's 48 degrees!)...
Don't put those sweaters away yet! ;D

Ike is still wearing his winter Pendleton DDD. His summer "Cuban godfather" DDD is in storage until, I figure, June!

Freezing cold here in Pennsylvania and we're looking forward to going back to the southern warmth (if tornadoes don't blow our house down!) after wrapping things up here.
Yesterday was my mother in law's funeral. Give your loved ones extra kisses while you can.

Same here! It's crazy to hear that this weather is going on other places. Freyja isn't too happy about it, but is content to pee on the deck instead of on the yard.

We're ready for spring and some long walks.

Yeah, the weather here's been fickle, too... it was nice and warm, then a few days later it snowed! I'm just looking forward to when the weather sticks with warm!

I think March might go out like a lion here in Chicago. Blustery, wintery but not freezing so I suppose it feels like spring. Jeeves didn't want to be out much today so it's definitely still wintery! Melinda and Jeeves
