bottle shark

With so many smells and sounds gently breezing in through all the windows we had opened in our house yesterday, tiny chumley was very very busy, analyzing from his kitty perch every curious noise and unusual scent to determine its threat level and deciding when to multi-bark or merely brip.  Yet although his day was so primarily composed,  the little kielbasa still made time to transform himself from vigilant defender wolf to sneaky bottle shark.  Demonstrating Baxter's philosophy,  I think,  that even in the busiest of times, we must always make time for play. :)

Does Baxter break apart the bottles? Does he ever get it into pieces he could swallow? Is it mainly just a noise thing? Ali doesn't chew stuff anymore but a new puppy will.
Pictures are cute as always.

hello miss marene and ali! no my mom is always around when the bottle comes out and boo hoo she does not let me play with the bottles for very long. though really i am not much of a swallower on stuff like that. i like to eat, but i like eating real food if u know what i mean. but she still takes them from me when things get a little sharp. mom says had i not known about bottles at my foster home i probably would not know about them now. and we really don't do plastic bottles too much so they are quite a treasure when i get one! :)

Morning Baxter~ Would you ask your mom to consider adding the new 'subscribe by email' gadget to your blog? I'm going through and adding all of my favorite blogs so that I can both simplify my life and also guarantee I don't miss a great post! :)Yummy, plastic bottles! :)

OOOOH a bottle! Lucky boy! They are favorites around here too. My 4 pack also loves gallon water bottles, has you Mom ever given you one of those fun things? Nothing like watching your dox run across the room with a bottle bigger than them in their mouth! Hope you have another great day of smells and barks! big Hugs

It's very healthy to play, Baxter! (use that for when your mom won't let you have something. But by the sounds of it, you won't need to say it...;)

Personally, Baxter, I'm thinking if you want to make shark noises you should go with a good strong "CHOMP!" noise. It'll sound very convincing, especially if people can see your pearly white teeth snapping! ;D
