reading is fundamental

dear diary,
sometimes when duk duk and i get too rambunctious chasin each other or doin something interestin like seein who can make the loudest tushie burp (yeah u know what i really mean but mom won't let me type that), mom makes us settle down and do a little reading, which actually is really fun in a quiet sort of way. and it just so happened i needed to find out the meaning of a word i heard in school the other day, so duk duk and i decided to take a look at the swell dictionary mom got us at the thrift store. and do u know what? we had so much fun that before we knew it, we almost missed watching our scooby doo cartoons. luckily we did not though duk duk said he had set up the dvr to record it just in case. phew!

anyhow, besides havin a fun time reading i also got to take off my reading glasses and play and dig outside for what also seemed like forever cuz mom was cleaning off the deck and planting stuff. that was fun too but i might not have dug so many holes had i realized i had to take a bath after. duk duk said he was glad he stayed inside and played with the wii and i do not blame him cuz right now i smell like lavender and oatmeal and both those smells either belong on a girl or the dinner table.

well that was my saturday, and today me n duk duk are going to make mom a mother's day card. whatchoo doin, diary?

toodley-doo!
b. :)

Hey Baxter-

R u sure you aren't a real little boy? I swear every time you let us peek into your diary, I really feel like I'm reading a little boy's diary! Anyway, will you please wish you mom a Happy Mother's Day for me? And by the way, you are getting more and more handsomer every day!

Baxter... I think your glasses raise your IQ quite a bit. Very studious.

Happy Mother's Day!

hee hee, thank u ramsay! my mom is making me quite a nice collection and i must say it really helps with the reading! :)

thank u miss mary anne! and a very happy mother's day to u although i am sure kona beat me to it!! :)

oooh, mom says training is everything and more importantly u have to stick with it outside of class, but at 6 months nelli might still be all rambunctious anyways cuz she's still so young! but they do offer puppy training classes which i did not get to take cuz by the time mom n dad got me i qualified for the regular good citizen class. the biggest thing u can take away from that class is how to get and keep your dog's attention because from there almost anything is possible, especially with the right snackie! and proper positive reinforcement! which is not to say that i get a little naughty sometimes and not listen either, but u know, i am a doxie! :)

hee hee, max i need all the help i can get! happy mother's day 2 ur mom too!! :)
