to whom it may concern
attention please, squirrels n bunnies of this forest! my mom says this is a rest stop, but since i never pee or poop at them no matter how long i have been traveling, i will instead use this time to hunt. so please, if u are a bunny or a squirrel, please step forward and prepare to be chased.
and, to whoever removed the stairsteps to this stump, please return it immediately so that the hunt may begin. thank you.

Oh geeze Baxter! I hope you didn't worry your mom too much by not going potty!! I know that I worry about Kona when he holds it for too long!
ha. must be a doxie boy thing.
Ammo will hold it FOREVER. He hardly ever needs or wants to go outside during our 8 hour work days. Plus he never wants to wake up in the morning to go outside. He'd sleep till 1pm if I let him. Most days he wakes up, eats breakfast and then goes right back to bed until late afternoon when he saunters to the door and rings his little bell.
You tell 'em, Baxter. You do look like you're the King of the Forest there. Hope you get down eventually.
Have a great day.
pawhugs, Max
hee hee, well miss maryanne, mom said i went 24 hours without doing a THING when I first came to my foster mom's house. and, well, u see, i prefer doing my bidness at home in one area, so as u can imagine since i am such a private potty-er that i would not want to do it in such a foreign space unless i really really really really really had to. or if i know we are spending the night somewhere else, in which case i will go in the yard of where we are staying.
hee hee, miss kyley, it might just be! cuz i am pretty much like that too! it is a good thing ammo does not abuse his bell ringing prileges like my granduncle kep did. can u imagine he would ring the bell jsut to toodle around outside and not do a thing til he came back inside? mom says he was very stubborn!
ha - yep, max, those squirrels sure thought they were funny but i showed them!
Not to worry Baxter, my Barney will hold it for days if he has too. He too is a private potty-er. When we travel from Vermont to North Carolina he will not poop until he is home. That is a 3 day trip!! He just has to be comfortable to do his business. He will not even go at the motels we stay at every time we travel. Now my Sassy, she goes like clock work. It must be a boy doxie thing! just one more thing to love about you!
Awesome, Baxter! You're such a handsome dog I bet the squirrels and bunnies were glad to be chased. ;) I hope you're not still stuck on that huge stump!!!
oh miss annie! it is so good to know i am not the only one. though i think barney has me beat. i think it is the fiber that mom gives me. otherwise, i would totally consider the 3 day hold too!! :)
miss taylor lynn, i finally had to ask my mom for help. and that really did wonders for my street cred in that forest, let me tell u. next time i think i will make my announcement from the grass!! :)
Let me tell you, Guinness is the original pupper with no neural connection between his brain and his eliminations. He will be standing next to me - IN THE KITCHEN!!! - and just squat and pee!! UNBELIEVABLE! He's lucky he's only six pounds and has a small bladder! And I can yell at him and have even given him a tap on the tush and he looks offended!!! It's also a good thing that he's now 16 years old and I indulge him. And thank heavens for ceramic tile!!!
Must make for an awfully long car trip with no bathroom relief!! How nice of you, Baxter, to warn all those little bunnies and critters that you were about to unleash your hunting wrath... ;)
hey bax!
not to worry! i'm sort of a private snake-maker myself. i'd be afraid of the squirrels watching me and stealing the secret of snake-making! they'd surely share it with the aliens and put us doxies out of business!
i betcha the squirrels were the ones who took the stairsteps too! they need it to get up to the alien spaceships!!!

whooo, miss keren u know mom said kep did the same thing! she said kep always knew who was the real boss!
hee hee, i thought so miss simply smitten! but you would think they would have appreciated the warning enough not to take away the stairs on me!! :)
oooh very good point ramsay! :)
Did you get the stairs back? If you did, did you catch any animals?
Paw hugs & licks,
Riley Mae
hello miss riley mae, sorry i did not respond sooner but yes as u might guess it took a while for me to get back down and by then nobody was afraid of me. go figure! i hope your chickens give your dog the respect he deserves!! :)
