dear diary,mom had already written something 4 today but i just had to write and tell u about my sunday. she calls it my funday and she is totally right! and not just because of the bunnies i chased or because i beat duk duk and chocobot at dance dance revolution while lil pink puppy was taking his nap but because of this!
yep, it is a real live box turtle. which i was not too happy about all while i was with him because everybuddy says how terrific turtles are but then when i meet one he's all, hey, lemme get back in my shell or, hey, lemme scare u and poke my head out and start walkin real slow and actin like i can't hear u bark n stuff. so, needless to say it was kinda like meeting santa for the first time. u know, scary bark your head off scary but then when your mom takes you away from him you're like, hey wait, i forgot to tell him about all the presents i wanted. thank goodness for email nowadays. chocobot says turtle is a friend of his and they write all the time so next time chocbot sends him an email i will write him too because i completely forgot to ask if he was racing that rabbit i chased earlier and if he was, did he win because everyone says the turtle wins because slow n steady wins the race but now i realize that i might have had sumptin to do with that because that bunny never came back after i chased it so maybe bunny hopped completely into a different fable or sumptin!
anyhoo, i sure hope turtle comes back so i can offer him a monkey chow milkshake and invite him to our guess whose foofie game. methinks he might be pretty good at it! well, the makin part anyways!

yeah, I can see we had some pretty ferocious barks there...
In my experience, it isn't good to yell at someone and then expect them to be your friend. But maybe its different with turtles. And toads.

Box turtles DO bite! And it WILL hurt! Soooo . . .
Maybe the first thing is to go to Facebook and "friend" this page: Cuddles Fur-Ever Home Page. Cuddles is a piebald who had the WORST skin condition I've ever seen & she's all better now. At her home, there's a tortoise named Frankie. Scroll way way way way WAY down on Cuddles' wall & you will find a video of Frankie. He started out the size of a GOLF ball!
Wow... rabbit and turtle in the same week.. I think it must have been a race... Great pictures.

hee hee well so far mister turtle does not care if i bark at him and i care that he is in my yard still. STILL! i will tell everbuddy more about it 2morrow but rest assured i am still keeping my distance from mister scary!! :)
