hatching eggs
Sometimes I wonder what Baxter thinks when I or his dad happen upon him doing what he thinks to be entirely nothing, and out of the blue comes a giant squee from us. Like yesterday, when I came across the little kielbasa quietly resting with his shorty paws tucked under his meatloafy body, nesting like a little chicken trying to hatch his eggs.
mom, u say squee, but i say, can u please make me mittens? it's cold in here! :)

thank u miss linda! mom says u see my little white hairs? i say, i hope it means i will turn into the abominable snowman some day!! :)
thank u nola! do u ever do that? or lie down with your hind legs out like a froggy? mom says i never do that and she is right. me dunno why. :)
lol too cute!
Squee! I love it. Poe sometimes does this too. My other favorite is when she lies down with her front paws crossed in front of her chest.
P.S. Your little white hairs look very distinguished!
Baxter, you do look very distinguished with you're little white hairs upon your chiny chin chin, and I think if you wish hard enough you could be the abominable snowdoggie:)
Jasper sits like this every once in a while & I love it too, but I am never fast enough w/ my camera to get a pic:)
Hi Baxter! Oh yes, when its cold I lay just like you, and when it's hot I do the ''Doxie Frog" as mom calls it BOL.
Hope you'll stop by, I'd love to hear from you!

Ali has sat like this for years. Just about every time she lies down. Funny how some do and some don't.
ove you Baxter. Did u see the puppies at Carsons? I still think Baxter would love a little bunkmate to keep him warm. I understand though. I think.
Marene&Ali
I would be happy to knit you a blankie Baxter, but I don't know how to knit. But I sure would try. Or I could get on a plane and come over and keep you warm. We could be snuggle-bunnies!
Hugs, Lily Belle
What a great new angle on one of Chester's favorite positions. I love the little "distinguished" hairs on the lip. My Chester started getting them last year. So darn cute!
perhaps george and a few snackies in his tummy could help getting warmer?

I love this picture.... The boys protect their paws like that too. Missed seeing you for the last few days. HH is writing that novel for National Novel Writing Month and I can't seem to get her attention to remind her to put me on the computer. Anyway, I'm about to scroll and catch up on what you've been doing. Have a great weekend, pal.
pawhugs, Max
hee hee thank u miss amy! methinks if u keep the house cold enough like it is here, u will see jasper in the same position like me a lot more! (well under blankies anyway!)

I called this Minnie's duck pose -- she was pudgy enough that her legs more or less disappeared when she sat like this.
