don't worry, mom! me and dad will totally hold down the fort while u r gone. and, um, would u say hello to gramma and grampa for me? and...well, um, before u go, could u please turn the lights back on?
- baxter, 5.9 years old, on sticking his curious little doxie noggin in places where it shouldn't be, yet trying to reassure his mom that he and his dad will be fine at home together while she is gone and his grampa gets his bypass surgery. :)
