My little sewing buddy loves his new view out to the backyard, and I love watching him as the dappled sunlight of morning dances on his shiny little noggin, like a copper penny glinting on the floor of a fountain. :)

Penny has taken over Molly's roost in the sock monkey bed on the back of the couch in front of the picture window. On the days when I work from home, she sits there alertly surveying her fiefdom, until there is a reason to start barking at something - the mail carrier, a squirrel, a dog walker, or just a leaf drifting by the window. It's wonderfully relaxing just to glance over and see her there.
