the little dachshund roused from his deep evening sleep, keenly aware that his nose would never wake him unless something good was happening. hmmmm, he wondered only for a very brief moment as his eyes locked on what his nose already knew. sleeping, he knew, could always wait until later. “mom, i was sleeping but now i am awakey wake and surely u need help finishing those strawberries, dontchoo?” :)

Oh Baxter, I love fruit, too!--Apples and pears, strawberries and peaches, too, as well as cherries without pitty-pit-pitts, and so much more!
