At some point almost every day, the boundless joy in our little wiener boy reaches such critical levels, that he must skip and jump and skip and jump and skip and jump to release and share it with the world, lest he explode from all the happy built up inside him. :)

Tiny chumley's penchant for plastic bottles nods back to an earlier time in his sausagey little life.   The time when the little kielbasa was a roly poly, impressionable ten month old lad, rescued from a dog hoarding situation and placed in a foster home where mister monkey-see-monkey-do learned the finer points of plastic bottle appreciation from his foster host, Rudy the mini Black and Tan.

It has been almost six years now since Baxter lived ever so briefly with Rudy.  And though there have been many lessons we both have learned since then, those learned in our youth always seem to hold a special place in our heart.

as you know me and duk duk hope to be starting our summer adventures soon and one very big teeny tiny part of it will be the videos we hope to post with my new iphoney while we are on our journeys.  so this is a test.  not with my iphoney because i have not gotten it yet, but still a test to see how our videos from instagram will look here on my blog.  and a test to see if my lunchy dance will work the same way a rain dance does.  which i do not need to do on account of how much rain we have been getting.  but i do need lunch.  :)

anyhoo diary, i hope you are doing well.  things are otherwise progressing very slowly because of said rain, but lucky for us, me and duk duk have been able to bide my time, and maybe one day i will hear from my friends @badrobot about becoming an honorary bad robot, or at least supplying them with our custom home made 3D glasses.  because they are that cool..

Some things are best left mostly unexplained, I think.  But when fingerless little boy doxies are involved,  no matter how hard he doesn't try, the results always seem to manage ending up on the sunny side of cute :).

project summer fun: meet u at the corner of corncob and vine

dear diary,
even though me and duk duk are still a week or two away from finalizing our project summer fun plans, yesterday we figured there is really no reason why project summer fun could not start now. here at home  which is how i decided not only try to eat corn on the cob, but also play with vine. and both are very fun with one being more delicious than the other if u know what i mean.

anyhoo, something tells me soon i will wish i could trade in my i-phoney for a real one, as much fun as we could having making tiny videos all summer long. so now might be a good time to remind everybuddy that the official crown count fundraiser and interest check survey is now open for your input over on the right sidebar of the web version of my blog!  so if you are a princess and need a superior quality sparkly crown hopefully like the ones in this picture link, then be sure to let mom know how many u might be interested in getting so we can make sure there will be enough for everybuddy once we discover the buried treasure chest!  voting closes at the end of the week.  which is longer than it would take for me to finish my corn cob, if only mom would let me finish it all at once..

Sometimes I think it would be swell if doxies came with a slow motion button, if only to capture the cuteness of things we might otherwise miss, like a happy tail, swishing along the inside walls of a play tunnel. :)

the long and pokey road

Hee hee, yep, the doc called and gave us the all clear yesterday to release this little hound. We will take things slowly and of course be mindful of his jumping about, but here's hoping that baby dog's days of waking up with his mind on set on freedom are over for a very very very long time. :)
