doxie epoxy
Little boy stuck like glue after I came home yesterday night, ignoring George and his numerous comfy beds in favor of my lumpy, shifty lap. A price he's willing to pay, I suppose, to ensure his pack stays together.
In the two years we've had Baxter, we've only been away from him once, when he a bout with HGE caused him to spend the night at the emergency vet . We've been lucky that one of us can stay home with Baxter if the other has to travel, and that Baxter travels well, so that we can take him with us when we drive to visit family and friends.
I wonder what it will be like, the first time we actually have to board him. There's so much doxie epoxy keeping this pack together, they'll have to break out the industrial strength solvent just to break us apart.

Yay for being back as a pack! I love when Chloe chooses my lap instead of the piles of pillows on our couch! :)
Awww! I'm probably going to have to leave the doxie crew part of my gang during Thanksgiving...*gulp* I know they will be fine but....
Baxter---so glad your mom is home again. It's our 9th birthday--and we get to share it all day with mom because she has some kind of flu---some agricultural variety flu! But at least it's a great couch day for all of us!
Your pals Kate & Allie
There is such a fight when we are going to be traveling and cannot take Molly. EVERYONE wants her. Even my in-laws. You know - the older people with the white silk couch in a doorman building?! The biggest problem is the decision regarding who we can leave her with that will actually let us have her back.
Molly also flies with us. She's a well traveled weiner.
And, fortunately, we also have friends and family who volunteer to keep the shepherds too. That's why I am always willing to keep my friends' dogs for them when they travel - just like Dwight on The Office, I like to have those favors to call in.
Bax is welcome anytime ;-)
i LOVE doxie epoxy! :D
From the time I picked up a 6 week old, 2.5 pound Oskar from his breeder, he would scream when placed in a crate. No matter how we tried to entice him, the crate, and being in a moving vehicle brought out the worst in our little wurst! Travel is too painful to our ears so he travels by car infrequently. I swear that I'm going to just start driving him around every day and try to win him over.
You're lucky that Baxter travels so well and likes his crate.
You're also lucky to have your velcro dox!!
Hi Bludog - Oooh, in-cabin flying. that is one thing we really wish we could do but it seems Baxter doesn't meet the size criteria (too big). That ep of the Office was funny, like that all are! Oh if only we lived closer! Though Baxter would totally need to get over himself with the sheps.
Happy Birthday Kate & Allie!!!
Oh no, Erin, wish your doxies could stay with us.
Hi Alicia! Dang, hates the moving car? Kep and Padua weren't fond of it but we also didn't have the Snoozer back then. And most of their car travels were to the vet. Are you that Oskar, crafty doxie that he is, isn't playin on heart strings?
whoopsie - hi angie!
My mom had to be away for 2 days and I really missed her a lot!
She is back now and I am acting like velcro with her!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
