renegade bunny
Watching tiny chumley work the backyard yesterday gave me new theory as to why squirrels and bunnies often wait til the very last second before they dart off when Baxter is on the prowl. Little kielbasa looks more like an oversized bunny than he does ferocious wolf to these confused nibbling marauders, hopping about as he must to clear piles of leaves and low lying plants, with ears flying high above his head. Perhaps one day these squirrels and bunnies will get wiser and bug out sooner rather than later. But who can really blame them for dallying when all they see is a big ol noisy bunny coming at them, and all they wonder is what this brother is doing trying to interrupt their meal.
