- baxter, 3.5 years old, hiding, and wondering why his mom and dad won't take him along on errands in the 90+ degree heat.

Hi, Baxter!
Your picture is like I see myself in a mirror!
It is not fun when my mom leaves me at home... even at 90 degrees!
Kisses and hugs

Gosh, I've gotten that look, too! It's pitiful, and usually earns a quick ride thru the neighborhood.
Whenever I come home - from work, or running an errand, or doing training classes with the big dogs - Molly gives me what for! She stands at the top of the back porch steps and barks and barks until she's told me everything that I need to hear. Now I'm not entirely fluent, but I certainly know when I am being cussed out in Dachshund.
Bludog, guess it's not good we are fluent in dachshund, huh? :)
Or perhaps it is good that I am not completely fluent ;-)
