baxter and duk duk's amazing feats of summer (part 1)

dear diary,
guess what - yesterday when duk duk and i were goofin around in the library upstairs, we ran across this really big book. and it wasn't just any book, it was the guinness book of world records! my whole summer changed right before my very eyes. what? why is that, you ask, mr diary? duh - duk duk and i are gonna make and break our own world records and catalog them as our amazing feats of summer! so, if you are wondering why there are crumbs all over my head, wonder no more cuz here's a little video of our first ever amazing feat.

yeah, i know can do even better next time! well, gotta dud up and run some laps around the house. duk duk is gonna time me, if i can run them faster than he can fly them, i get to play with his new iphone apps. whee!

toodles,
b.

hi hannalei & dodo & momo! maybe u guys should join my amazing feats team and u can make your own videos for your blog! I bet u guys have very special talents!!

hi ammo - hee - i kNOW u have special talents! mom says it helps that i don't know any better and there is no doggie competition to break my focus. like with kep and padua, there was no waiting ever to eat food. it was all gobble gobble gobble!!

happy Wednesday!! :) - b

My herd has a special talent. Destroying toys, sneaking into the cat food when they are not supposed to and eating Kitty rocha when Mommy forgets to gate the box off.. UGH!!!!

I'd LOVE to learn how to teach Kai to do those things tho. He's still young enough I think to catch it and he's a bright little boy.

oh cat food is a prime delicacy, only surpassed by - ugh - cat poopies! you could probably teach Kai pretty quickly in a quiet room with no distractions and a mess o kitty food!! Thing with Baxter on this trick was to really bring the food from behind his head so he didn't try to chomp at it first thing.

Wow, we are so totally impressed. Flash in the only one of us who lets mom put treats on his nose. And even he starts getting all cross eyed and stuff. You are obviously very talented. We just know you'll beat all the records!

Ok, in my professional doxie opinion, that is torture. Baxter, I could see the pain on your face the whole time and your little nose was just a goin'. I don't see how you put up with that type of treatment from your mom. I would just tell mine I ain't gonna do that and eat them! The only record I might break is sleeping..... hmmmm....

hee - one doggie's torture is another doggie's jackpot! did u SEE how much food I got to eat after all that? plus, really, I could hold that stuff on my head a lot longer but mom thought people might get bored watchin me do that. me very patient when it comes to gettin treats!! it helps that there are no other doggies around to compete with, that's for sure! :) b
