Most days, it's pretty easy to tell by the muffled barking and twitching paws what the little kielbasa is dreaming about. But yesterday, an entirely different and curious dream for tiny chumley. Five very big and thumpy tail wags. Morse code, doggy style, for what I can only figure spells out "happy".

Growing up, we had a big black lab named Jeb. When he was sleeping, my mother would softly say, "Good dog!" After a few seconds of hesitation, Jeb still sleeping soundly, that heavy tail - source of many a coffee table clean sweep - would begin to thunk against the hardwood floor.
oh what a sweet boy Jeb was! how did the gang do with fireworks? Baxter slept soundly, thanks to the mini sweat lodge I made out of a steaming pile of laundry and hisblankie, and the white noise of the washer and dryer. firewhat?
Dreams are fun aren't they? I sometimes wake mom or dad up by wagging my tail so hard they think someone is hitting them. Imagine me snoozing on my back and wagging my tail like no body's busincess! I bet that is how you look too.

heheh i love it when little furry friends sleep and dream. When i take naps with my little kitty whom i miss SO MUCH!!!(btw), she sometimes starts to twitch her little paws lol it's cute
Baxter, you're so freaking lucky. You're just sleeping and dreaming away on Monday, and we had visitors to the house - and not just any visitors - THEY GAVE US NON-ANESTHETIC TEETH CLEANINGS! Boy were we mad at Dad. Can we come live with you?
Oh my goodness... that made me teary eyed. I love waggy tail dreams. They just scream to my heart of happiness, feeling secure and loved. Yay for Baxter and his blissful dreams. :)
ha - joey n maggie, u come to my house and u get the exact same thing! well, i'm guessin. mom has me open my mouth and then she cleans my teeth too. i haven't had tartar buildup in quite a while! :)
hee- the waggy tail dreams are so sweet! I can only hope that he's dreaming about me giving him a belly rub! :)
