dear diary,
yippee! dad is coming home today. u think he'll let me switch places with him at night so i can keep sleepin on his side of the bed and he can sleep down under the sheets by our feet? cuz, i'm totally loving where i sleep now. it's so nice n big n i can spread out however i want! though mom says i really shouldn't be hogging that much bed, especially i'm so little. i can't help it if i need space to run around in my dreams!
well i best put all my toys back in the toy box so everything looks nice n tidy for dad's homecoming.

Hiya Baxter! hooray for your dad coming home!! you're so lucky you get to sleep with your mom n dad! well, my mom n dad are back from their vacation and I am NOT glad that they're back! you see, at my aunty's house, I got to sleep in the big bed with my aunty and uncle while my cousin howie (a little ween like me) and my cousin spencer (14 y/o dalmatian) got to sleep on their beds on the floor! here at home, I get to sleep on my own bed next to the big bed! you are one one lucky ween!

This summer Jeeves just refused to sleep in his cuddly crate and he used to RUN to get to it at night. He just sat at the base of the bed and looked at me--I caved. Glad I did! Melinda
