Okay, I know the moon isn't really full right now. But how else can I explain what happened yesterday night?
It had been a while since the big bad wolf inside our little sweet boy had graced us with his presence. So long, that I hadn't even thought the possibility of a stuffing snowstorm might actually be in the forecast when we went rifling through the drawer beneath our washer, tiny chumley's drawer of forgotten treasures.
"Gingerbread man?", I asked, holding the noseless toy high enough above the drawer for Baxter to see.
no. not today thank you, his eyes did say as he tippy pawed with neck craned into the drawer in hopes of scoping out things a little faster.
"Cheetah?"
nope, not interested. what else u got?
"Surely you don't want this guy," I said, holding up Mr Sheepy and squeezing him to show how he no longer squeaked.
Tiny chumley's head pulled back, and his eyes grew as big as saucers. oh yes please. that one!
And the rest, as they say, is chupacabra history.

Looks like you had one of those "destuffing" days, right?
