desperately seeking squirrel
There are days in Baxter's happy go lucky life when his urge to catch a squirrel is almost palpable, almost something I could bottle and sell at the convenience store next to those 5 hour energy shots. Tiny Chumley's Gumption Potion, it would have to be called, guaranteed to give you the gumption you need to get things done.
This time of year, when the squirrels are plentiful and almost careless in their scampering about, it's almost impossible to derail our boy from his single minded mission when we are on our walkies. Unless you are a big dog, a breathing challenged pug, or unless you happen to be wearing a suit made of rawhide, know that it's nothing personal if tiny chumley doesn't even notice you exist. This boy is Baxter, and he is desperately seeking squirrel.

It's good to have a mission. Mine is to get away from squirrels... I admire your persistence. Have a great day.... Max

good morning miss mary anne, my kitty friend max n ruthie n everybody! mom says i have to get off the comupter now, boo hoo. but i can't wait to watch duk duk dive into his big bowl of breakfast worms only to find out they are gummy ones!! ta ta!! :) b
Go get them tiger!
Oh - if only Simon were here, he could tell Baxter the secret of catching squirrels. Simon caught two (the first - the hubby tricked Simon away from, the second - well, you know the story!!!! - eaten in our kitchen, uggh!). Ike these days just sits under one of our trees waiting for a squirrel to fall out of it (kind of like me waiting to win the lottery!). Hope springs eternal.
We know what you mean Baxter, there are so many squirrels around here that we just want to chase, chase, chase. Oh my gosh that would be so AWESOME!!!! hehehe.
Flash, Alven and Dottie
i know that look, baxter! their focus when they see a squirrel is unbelievable. it lets you know that when they pretend to have a short attention span, its an act!! good luck on the squirrel hunt, baxter.
That's exactly how my Milo looks...but moreso when he's got bunnies in his sight than squirrels (but don't be mistaken, he won't pass up those squirrels either!)
I hope you can catch one of those squirrels soon!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
