the trot triumphant
Sure there are days when the little kielbasa will pick up a toy and play with it all by himself, but mostly, toys to Baxter are an interactive affair, meant to be played with in the company of others, to be tugged and thrown and even hidden, to chase and catch and yes, even fetch. Toys for tiny chumley are a very social affair, and without the company of others, the only toys that manage to pique tiny chumley's attention are those whose tummy can be appropriately destuffed, or conversely, those that can stuff his tummy. And so, on a day like yesterday when I needed some time to focus on flapjacks, free from the hypnotic stare of the great baxdini, I peeked into our recycling bin and washed out an old juice bottle, added a few carrot nibbles, and watched my boy triumphantly trot away with his newfound little friend.
keep my bed warm, will ya? i'll be back in a few.

It's a good thing the juice container name is blurred, or sweet Bax would be on an orange juice commercial!
hee - at least it is something we occasionally actually use! the blurring of his little feet remind me of giacomo balla's painting. :)
Hi, Baxter!
I don't play a lot with my toys by myself but if someone picks one of them I want it and a playing time begins!
And when my mom opens the big bottle of water she always gives me the lid and I run away with it!
Kisses and hugs

Heeehee- so this is where my mommy got the idea from! today while she was busy doing housework, she cut up some carrots and put in a water bottle and I had such a good time trying to figure out how to get them all out! thanks for giving the idea!
