evening snooze
I've been trying to be good lately, getting up earlier so that I can take advantage of working in the morning sunlight. Which has worked pretty well for me craftily speaking, but no so much for the tiny chumley, who I gather misses our late morning time together in bed. Who now has to catch up on the sleep he missed, by snoozing even more heavily in the evening.
somebody please wake me up when it's time to go to bed, okay?

miss hannalei, how is Toby doing? sometimes i wonder if i might like another buddy in the house but then i remember i rather like it when they just visit and i have mom n dad's bed all to my - i mean i share the bed with mom n dad.

aw, miss kerri, i know JUSt how u feel. i should be getting out of bed now but instead i've been up for, well, like forever. (the only clock near me is a regular one and i haven't learned how 2 tell time on it yet).
I wish all my pups were like Baxter. Mine are starting to replace my alarm clock and can be counted on to stand next to my bed and grumble until I get up and start the day.
oh miss sandra, when do u feed them? my granduncles kep and padua used to wake mom n dad up earlier and earlier every day cuz they were fed first thing. me, not so much. so that is why i like to stay in bed, cuz if there's no food, there's no point in gettin up early!! :) b
Ike, Otto, and Linus must have swiss clocks inside their stomachs -- they wake us up (only one dachsie per day - NO WAY there could be all three in bed with us each night!) at almost exactly 5:30AM. Simon was worse - ever had a "dachsie french kiss at 5AM?!
I used to wake my mom up very early everyday... but not now. She has to go to work at 7.15 am so she is the one who has to wake me up! She feels sorry for me, but, as soon as I eat my breakfast I go to the couch to sleep with my grandpa!
