sewing 101

A simple sign yesterday that spring might be around the corner, with the little kielbasa opting to quietly snooze in the warming sunlight of the morning rather than stay huddled by his winter friend George.  Keeping us company in true dachshund fashion, while I held a mini refresher course with his Uncle Dana on how to sew on buttons.

hey this sun is nice but wake me up when you see some bunnies that need chasing, okay?

oooh doesn't the sun feel nice and warm after all that snow and cold weather? it was nice here for a while, but now, it's raining! :-( no more sunshine for our little boy for a while.

Also, thanks for your kind words... every day gets a little easier :-)

Doesn't Uncle Dana just prefer you sew his buttons? I don't have a man in my house brave enough to take on that chore!
