can somebuddy get the door for me? i have unfinished work to do...

- baxter, 4.4 years old, yesterday morning, waiting by the door after his mom made him break off his squirrel chase and come back inside when his hunt was rudely interrupted by the appearance of a hawk.

eeeeeew, TOADS! we can hear them in the sump near our house! i hope yer mom didn't get warts on her foot! ya think if dukduk kissed it, it may have turned into a dragon? that would be awesome! except if it breathed fire, then it wouldn't be so awesome 'cuz then dukduk would be roast duck!

no more snakie sightings dad says, but it looks like there may be some strange-looking holes in the far end of the backyard. i'll stay away from them.

happy memorial day!
