Although this weekend has been busy with house projects galore since Baxter's helpful human cousin Henry is visiting, we will still take time today to remember those who have fallen while serving our country, and those who are too tiny to serve themselves. :)

hee hee dang miss siol, mom bought a seedless melon! i will so ask her to get the other kind next time cuz not only could we have a contest, we could have an all out seed spitting war! (mom is sitting next 2 me and shaking her head and saying sumption about boys...what up wit dat?)

i hung out with dad today for a little before he had to go to work (boooo!), then mom came home from work (yaaaaay!) and we played in the garden! i got to help her plant fruits, veggies and flowers, but booo b/c she wouldn't let me eat any of them! i still had fun though it was HOTTTT!
Well Baxter - when you come out to Chicago for the Bucktown Art fest let's plan on a watermelon seed spitting contest! Ike, Otto, Linus, you, plus Bludog, maybe Izzy and Melinda's boy! Maybe Joey and Maggie can make a celebrity visit!!!
