Whee, today a peekypoo at a couple of little somethings I just finished for Annabelle's mom to put under the Christmas tree for her lovely girl, whom we last saw as the lucky recipient of the lady in red. Now, Annabelle already had a nice winter coat, but this little lady needed a coordinating flapjack hat. A bit of navy babywale corduroy, glass beads, and one vintage 70s necktie later, her hat was done.
Little chum was eager as he always is to snackies model Annabelle's next gift, especially since it was a bit more unisex than Annabelle's other dud. This time, I had the pleasure of making her Pittsburgh Penguins inspired dud, so she can show her spirit just like everyone else in her family come game day!
Whooo hoo. Yes, it's probably time that the little chum himself also get a new dud, especially since his chest has gotten bulkier this past year with all that muscle weight. So sometime soon, a new blaze orange dud! Ooo, maybe just in time for Santa to put under the tree this Christmas. Happy Thursday! :)

hee hee, ramsay, i can't wait either! but enjoy your tiny-ness while u can cuz you're only a puppy once (though you'll think you're one forever!!)
Oops! Did we start a sporty dapper doxie dud trend?!? :-)
Me likey dat!!!
Happy Thursday to you too... What wonderful duds you have made. I love them all.
pawhugs, Max
Your duds are amazing! Any way you can do a sports one that also glows for early morning walks?
Soon Kona will have enough sporty buddies to have a team!! :)
Hi Max! I so want to make a quilt soon!
Hi Anon - Ha, it depends on how out there you want to go - there are reflective products like piping (which I used on Baxter's own sporty green dud), reflective fabric (for a larger area of reflectivity), but if you're looking to actually give off light like a little glow bug, they do make
glow in the dark fabric which I assume you need to expose to light first to charge up the fabric, or we can find a way for you to attach glow sticks to the dud (but that's kinda wasteful cuz the glowsticks are single use). Ha, and there's a world of really out there ideas if you're willing to use LED/battery powered lights!
We love the sports themed harnesses for both the guys and girls...super smart looking. Great job!
That Penguins harness is astounding. Slightly retro and lots of fun.
I can't wait to re-dachshund my home and get a Canes jersey-harness!
Btw, B, make sure your parents check out the "Drabble" comic strip in today's paper or online.
